The greatest measure of a man is what he would do for another. Theta Chi’s Sacred Purpose movement, launched January 2014, is geared towards doing just that. Based off of our motto, the “Assisting Hand,” we are educating brothers on alcohol and drug abuse, providing them with campus resources if they need help, and reaching out to the greater Lexington community through service. This is a movement unlike anything a fraternity has ever done, and Theta Chi is proud to be in the forefront for such important issues. Since the Spring of 2014 semester, we invited multiple speakers to speak on various issues (alcohol/drug abuse, stress, etc.) college students are going through, and launched our first ever “Shake the Stress Fest,” partnering with the National Alliance on Mental Illness to promote mental health education and general physical/mental wellness.

Zeta rho is proud to have sponsored the following:
"Over the past 18 years, Mike Green has presented on more than 2000 campuses nationwide in his effort to make drug and alcohol awareness and education an integral part of every student's life. He is a recognized leader in the field, who has earned the respect of both his colleagues and the student he has counseled. This recognition was clearly illustrated in 1987, when he was chosen to give expert testimony before the United States House of Representatives Select Committee on Narcotics Abuse and Control." - Mike Green's website.
